01
Who we are
Ace TMUA is operated by AceIt Studios. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to AceIt Studios. For questions about this policy or your information, email aceitstudios0@gmail.com.
02
Information we handle
Information you provide
- Account information: your email address, display name, authentication provider and account identifier when you create or connect an account.
- Study profile: information such as your target university, target TMUA score, intended exam sitting, chosen study days and reminder time.
- Support messages: the contents of emails and any details you choose to send when asking for help or giving feedback.
- Early-access information: your email address and submission date when you choose to join the Ace TMUA early-access list.
Information created through use of the app
- Learning activity: completed lessons, practice answers, mock attempts, scores, timestamps, study duration and saved in-progress sessions.
- Subscription information: product, entitlement, purchase status and expiry information supplied by Apple, Google or RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
- Technical information: our service providers may process limited device, app, network and log information, including IP address, where needed to provide authentication, syncing, fraud prevention, purchases and service security.
You may use core parts of Ace TMUA as a guest. Guest progress is stored on your device and is not linked to a cloud account unless you later sign in and sync it.
03
How we use information
We use information to:
- create, authenticate and maintain your account;
- save and sync your profile, lessons, practice and mock results;
- personalise study targets, progress views and optional reminders;
- provide, verify, restore and manage Premium access;
- respond to support requests and review question feedback;
- send early-access, beta and launch updates when you have chosen to join the list;
- protect the app, investigate faults and prevent misuse; and
- comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
Study and trial reminders are scheduled through your device after you grant notification permission. You can disable them in the app or your device settings.
04
Our legal bases
Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we rely on:
- Contract: to provide the account, syncing, practice and subscription features you request.
- Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain and improve the service, answer support requests and prevent misuse, where those interests do not override your rights.
- Consent: where you choose to enable notifications, join the early-access list or where consent is otherwise required. You may withdraw consent through the relevant setting or the unsubscribe option in an email.
- Legal obligation: where records must be kept or information disclosed to meet applicable law.
06
How long we keep information
We keep account and learning data while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide Ace TMUA. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required, subject to limited backup cycles and any legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution obligations.
Guest data remains on your device until you clear the app’s storage or remove the app. Support emails may be retained while needed to resolve the request and maintain an appropriate record. Early-access information is kept until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it or the list is no longer needed.
07
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your information, and to receive a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent and complain to your local data-protection authority.
- Update profile and reminder choices from within the app.
- Delete your account through Profile → Account → Delete account.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account.
- Email aceitstudios0@gmail.com to unsubscribe from the early-access list, ask us to delete your email or make another privacy request.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Deleting an Ace TMUA account does not cancel a store subscription, which must be managed separately with Apple or Google.
08
Children
Ace TMUA is intended for students preparing for university admissions. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.
09
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information, including authenticated access and access controls for cloud-stored user data. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10
International transfers
Our providers may process information in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
11
This website
This website does not include advertising or first-party analytics. Its hosting provider may process standard server information, such as IP address and request logs, to deliver and secure the site. If you submit the early-access form, your email address is sent through our Google Apps Script endpoint and is stored with the submission date in our Google Sheet. Email links open your chosen email service; information you send is handled as a support message.
12
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Ace TMUA, our providers or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. Where appropriate, we will provide additional notice in the app.
